FINDING PRODUCTS, PLACING ORDERS AND OUR INNOVATIVE WISHLIST
The Wishlist is already up and running. It is a way to bookmark something for purchase later on. We are however rolling out features that will make your wishlist so much more than that. Here is a sneak preview of things to come over the next month.
- Multi wishlists – create a wishlist for various events like Christmas, birthday – create, delete, rename and set privacy settings.
- Share your list with friends & move products between lists & follow other people’s wishlists.
- Search and see other people’s wishlist while on hartgoods!
Finding stuff and getting around
There are 3 ways to find products.
- Search – the icon in top right corner of every page.
- Browse – go to categories in the top menu.
- List of Products – go to products in the top menu.
- Top and bottom menus on every page – they are different. Top menu is mostly to help navigate the site while Browsing, Searching and using your Cart, Wishlist and Checkout. The bottom menu is for static but important stuff like Terms and FAQs. Importantly your account details (if you registered or purchased something) are also in the bottom menu under My Account. Use this to see your orders, downloads, and other account details.
How do I place an Order?
Simple. While browsing and when you find the product you are interested in, click on the image. This will take you to the Product information page. There is a button here that will say add to cart or place order etc. Click the button and proceed to checkout. You can also add to your Cart while browsing on hartgoods.
Your Cart & Wishlist is always visible in the top menu bar. Some downloadable products are free, but you still go through checkout. The checkout page is completely secure.
Where do the products come from on hartgoods
There are several sources of products, and the way you purchase them on hartgoods varies accordingly. First…
- We make our own. Like the Foodsynergy Book. Or the innovative Visualisation and analysis of your Water. Or the organic legume seeds cultivated over the years. And more to come.
- We collaborate with carefully chosen partners and promote one or more of their products. You order from us and often they ship the product directly to you. We, however, maintain full responsibility.
- We have affiliate partners like the Australian online bookstore’s Fishpond or Booktopia. We spend hours finding remarkable products and then present them in detail. You then follow the link and purchase directly from their online store. We get a VERY small commission that helps fund our work.
Do I need an account to place an order?
No. But if you are coming back or creating a wishlist or building up your cart and want to pay later then having an account is advisable. Our site is highly secure and we never share your details with anyone. And most importantly credit card details are NEVER stored on our site.
Can you sell my Product. It’s absolutely awesome but I have no expertise in getting it out there?
Yes. Give us a call or send an email.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
We will replace or refund a product you receive from hardgoods if the product you receive is incomplete or damaged. This, however, needs to be done within 2 days of you receiving the product. Please make sure the product is what you want before you purchase it. We take the utmost care to communicate the nature and details of every product we host on hartgoods.
If you need to return a product follow these steps.
1/ Contact us first with your details and the order number of the product you purchased. It’s in the email we sent you after you purchased the goods.
2/ We will then arrange how the goods will be returned and we will pay for the shipping.
Every affiliate we work with like Fishpond, Amazon or iHerb for instance, have extremely sound, fair and consistent return policies that comply with its obligations under any applicable consumer protection legislation. However, ultimately hartgoods takes full responsibility for all goods sold on this site. Any disputes – contact us.
Once we have received any returned goods, we will contact you and organise a refund or a replacement or a credit for a purchase later – it’s your choice.
All refunds happen either via Paypal or by direct deposit into your account. If this is not possible for any reason, we will mail a check to your address.
Canceling or changing an order. What if I change my mind?
Contact us immediately and we will organise it with you.
Note however that digital goods like an eBook can’t be canceled or changed once you have ordered them. This is because you receive them immediately after you pay at the checkout and they can’t really then be returned.
If you receive your product and decide that you don’t actually want it, we will refund your purchase – no questions asked as long as the goods are returned in original condition. You repack it securely, pay for the shipping yourself and we will then refund it once we have received it. This however needs to be done withing 2 days of you receiving your order.
Missing products after ordering
If the product does not arrive we will resend it or offer a refund.

How Can I Return a Product?
The product must be intact and in the condition in which you received it. You can use your own packaging to return the goods but make sure the items inside are safe and will not be damaged. We will communicate with you on the best method of shipping. This partly is influenced by where you are.
We will pay for the return shipping unless you receive the product and just change your mind, in which case you can return it, pay for the shipping yourself and we will then refund it.

Financials and collecting money?
We DO NOT store your credit card details or PayPal details on this site ANYWHERE, EVER. You only ever enter those details when you make a purchase on our secure payment form and the details are immediately passed to the payment gateway (PayPal or Stripe) once you hit the purchase button. PayPal and Stripe are both industry standard highly respected secure and highly rated payment gateways used by millions around the globe.
Our commerce software system in conjunction with Stripe is able to use the more secure new industry standard tokenised system to store basic account information without storing actual credit card numbers. This way when you return to purchase again, a token (which is a nonsensical string of characters and maintained by the payment gateway) can be used to “remember you”. Most online stores are now using this system and all major credit card companies are insisting upon it as it is much more secure than previous methods. To reiterate – NO credit card numbers are stored on our system.
You can’t be authorised to sell online, especially in Australia, unless you have an impeccable track record, have a registered legal business name and address, have an ABN (Australian Business Number) and TFN (Tax File Number) and you own the domain name and the secure hosted website. What Shipping Methods Are Available?
We use a variety of shipping methods depending on the destination, weight, and cost of the product. These include Australia Registered Post and Startrack Couriers in Australia.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Yes, we do. We might use Startracks extended service or DHL.
How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?
Depends on where you are. If in Armidale NSW, it could be the same day. Typically, however, goods can take 2-5 business days. If goods are being shipped internationally, then this can be a little longer.
And some of our affiliate partners like Fishpond offer FREE shipping and as such logistically allocate greater lengths of time for a delivery. You win however financially with the free shipping and the amazingly low cost of the product.
If you purchase a digital product or service from hartgoods, then you receive these immediately once you have paid. No shipping involved.
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
When using our online shopping Cart, you can use all major credit cards and PayPal. We also accept cash when you collect goods directly from us or direct deposit by prior arrangement.
